Here is the list of cross border money transfer options for your consideration:
- Banks:
- You can convert your local currency to the currency of your investment at your bank which will then transfer the investment amount directly to SA account
- Alternatively, investors can make transfers in S.A acceptable currencies (SGD, USD, AUD, CAD, CNH, HKD, NZD, GBP, NOK, SEK, CHF, EUR, and JPY) and SA performs the currency conversion for funds received which are not in the currency of investment. You can read our currency conversion terms and conditions here.
- Revolut: $10 SGD remittance fee
- Other remittance licensed companies in Singapore
Please note that when you add funds to your SA account and utilize the banks’ traditional services to remit the sterling pounds, there will be extra chargeable fees which could be more expensive than the fees charged by money transfer service providers.
Please include additional clarification in the FAQ “Kindly note that for universal remittances, you have to indicate charges to be paid to the remitting party/bank (Revolut) in order for the beneficiary bank to receive the exact amount.“.
*Remittance charges if any, are to be borne by investors. Remittance charges are not related to SA platform fees, which are transparent to every user before investment.
